## Can this stay be extended from inside the country?
- Possible inside: **no**
- Must leave the country: **yes**
- Cost: AUD $250

**Cost detail.** AUD $250 is the charge for the subclass 600 you would need instead.

**How.** To stay longer you must either apply for a subclass 600 Tourist stream from inside Australia, or leave and re-enter on a fresh ETA or eVisitor.

**If you cannot extend.** An ETA or eVisitor never carries condition 8503, so a subclass 600 application from inside Australia is open to you — unlike holders of some sponsored visitor visas.
