To further facilitate personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Chinese side has decided to extend its visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from 45 countries, including France (see list below), until 24:00 on December 31, 2026.

During this period, holders of ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries may enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange, and transit for a stay of no more than 30 days. Individuals who do not meet the conditions for visa-free entry are still required to obtain a visa to China before their arrival.
